What you Can Expect
Course Credentials
These course are based on the most current recommendations of responsible sources, and the 2020 Guidelines from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), International Consensus on CPR and ECC Science with Treatment recommendations, as published by American Heart Association, and the ILCOR First Aid Task Force. CPR, AED and First Aid training programs by EMS Safety Service are approved and accepted by numerous federal, state and local agencies, organizations and regulatory bodies, including OSHA, CPCE, USCE and state Health, Human Services and EMS departments. CPR certification is NV Registry and CCSD approved.

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
- HeartSaver Certification
- Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. For many Heartsaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.
